Over 100 people joined some of the Showcase staff members on a 10 day tour to Northern Italy and Switzerland this past May. A combination of a little hockey and a lot of cultural exchanges made for a trip few of us will forget. The tour concentrated on travel but gave all the team members a chance to test their skills in Europe
Brad Doshan, Former Gopher Hockey player and current European Hockey coach, escorted the teams through some of the most beautiful areas in the world. The groups visited Lake Como, Milan and Venice Italy along with Interlaken, Lugano and Zurich, Switzerland.
Games were played against Hockey Club Lugano, Team Milano, Varesse Bulldogs and the Wetzikon Huskies. .
